Superstar Reese Witherspoon was out shopping yesterdat at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills wearing Mosley Tribes’ “Aviatrix” sunglass. This sunglass has a modern twist to the aviator style and is a great woman’s frame.  Reese is a huge fan of the Mosley Tribes brand, as well as their parent company Oliver Peoples.  The model she is wearing has the “Chrome Amber” lens which is photochromatic and adjusted to various light conditions.

Alyson Hannigan and her husband Alexis Denisof were out having lunch yesterday at Le Pain in Brentwood, California.  While leaving the restaurant Alyson was wearing the very popular Tom Ford “Jennifer” sunglass while Alexis was wearing the classic style of the Persol2747 sunglass.

Alyson who plays Lily Aldrin in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. She is also known for her previous roles as Willow Rosenberg on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayerand the flautist Michelle Flaherty in the American Pie films.

Matt Damon was out playing golf yesterday in Miami wearing the timeless style of Persol’s 2281S sunglass. Matt has become one of the highest in demand actors today and is one of the top twenty-five highest grossing actors of all time. He has been actively involved in several charitable organizations, including the ONE Campaign and H2O Africa Foundation. Matt has four films that debuted in 2007 which included the smash hit Ocean’s Thirteen. He also portrayed Jason Bourne in the hugely successful The Bourne Ultimatum, and had an uncredited cameo in Youth Without Youth. His next upcoming role will be in Margaret, which will be released next month.

Actress superstar Eva Longoria was arriving home this weekend at the LAX airport wearing Prada’s beautiful aviator styled sunglass ”PR 74GS”. Eva has been very busy lately with the restaurant in Los Angeles she started with Chef Todd English in September called Beso, which translates to kiss.  She also recently renewed her contract, along with the other leading ladies of Desperate Housewives with ABC for four years, worth a reported total $of 40 million.

Some of the most talented people in the world, especially musicians, are not yet widely known to the masses.  Rocco Deluca is one of those amazing people that the music world is just now starting to find. I purchased a documentary film of Rocco Deluca and his band (The Burden) this weekend and was blown away by his craftsmanship and voice. In the film, Rocco is seen wearing the classic styling of the Oliver Peoples sunglass “Lykos”.  This retro piece is a beautiful frame that also features the Oliver Peoples amazing advanced VFX technology lens.

Monica Cruz was at the Narita International Airport to present a handbag collection by Samantha Thavasa on Tuesday in Narita, Japan. Monica was wearing Tom Ford’s “Camilla” sunglass which features a accent bar along the top of the frame. Samantha Thavasa’s bags are everywhere in Japan. If you can’t afford the must have Louis Vuitton handbags, then Samantha Thavasa is your next choice. Most people think it is an American or English brand name. Not so. Samantha Thavasa, despite the name, is a brand born in Japan. And an expensive brand too. You may as well go for Louis Vuitton for the amount that you pay. 

Jake Gyllenhaal visited the “Late Show with David Letterman” at Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City on Monday wearing the Mosley Tribes “Pilot”sunglass. Jake was promoting his next film,  Rendition, which he stars opposite Meryl Streep, Alan Arkin, and Reese Witherspoon. The film is a Gavin Hood directed political thriller about the U.S. policy of extraordinary rendition. His next roles will be in Jim Sheridan`s remake of Susanne Bier`s 2004 Danish language film Brothers and Doug Liman’s as yet untitled film about the race for lunar colonization.

Kate Walsh was leaving a Spa in West Hollywood Monday on her 40th birthday wearing Chrome Hearts “Sweet Young Thang I” sunglass.  Kate has been very busy and successful with her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery on the ABC dramas Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice.

Professional poker player, and new husband of Pamela Anderson, Rick Salomon was at Mels Diner in West Hollywood Monday wearing Kieselstein-Cord’s ”Poker Face” sunglasses.  Unfortunately, this sunglass was recently discontinued and has been very difficult to find.  This style was one of the best men’s sunglasses in the K-C line. 

The famous German supermodel, actress, TV presenter, fashion designer, television producer and singer (wow she’s got a lot going on!) Heidi Klum was spotted this past weekend at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood wearing Tom Ford’s retro styled aviator “Hawkings”.  This model was Tom’s first sunglass and given the moniker model “TF0001″. The unique feature of this model is that it has two sets of lens; one set with framed lenses (as she is wearing) and an additional rimless set. The Hawkings sunglass’ origin dates back to the classic Porsche Design model from the 70’s.

Kate Hudson was at her 10-year high school reunion in Santa Monica Saturday wearing the new, and not-yet-released, Oliver Peoples Skla sunglass. The 2008 Resort Spring Collection for Oliver Peoples was presented to major accounts during the first week of October at Vision Expo West in Las Vegas.  We were proud to be one of the first accounts to preview the new fantastic line that was the hit of the convention and arguably the strongest release of any manufacture at the show.  Oliver Peoples also released their new and updated website that highlights their new sunglass and optical frames. The new line is a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Oliver Peoples and was inspired by their vintage frames which are the true essence and foundation of their company and the designs of Larry Leight.

Kate is wearing the Skla sunglass which is a very glamorous hand-crafted frame that features custom hammered metal detailing of the temples which adds refined texture. The 20th Anniversary Oliver Peoples logo plaque is also discreetly laminated at temple end.  This sunglass (along with the Ilsa sunglass, which we will highlight at a later date) are our favorite of the new women’s sunglasses.

Singer and song-writer Keyshia Cole was at the BET Hip Hop Awards in atlanta yesterday wearing the new Christian Dior Strassy 1 sunglass.  We just received our shipment of this fantastic sunglass this week as well and this could very well be Dior’s hottest sunglass this winter.

I got asked today if Tom Ford’s Whitney sunglass is starting to “cool off”?  One word answer = NOPE!  Maybe actually getting more popular, if that is possible!

Vanessa Minnillo was in Los Angeles yesterday wearing Tom Ford’s Whitney. Vanessa is a former Miss Teen USA, and she is mostly known for hosting Total Request Liveon MTV as well her past reporting as a New York-based correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

Music star Christina Aguilera was shopping for a crib in Studio City, California at the Juvenile Shop yesterday wearing the Whitneyalso. This sunglass seems to be a favorite of Christina as she has been wearing a number of different colors of this sunglass.

Model Claudia Schiffer was at the Frieze Art Fair in Regent’s Park, London today wearing Oliver Peoples “Chelsea” sunglass.  This big classy frame is being reintroduced this fall as one of the best sellers and signature designs of the Oliver Peoples line.
