Actress Rose McGowan was in Beverly Hills this week wearing the ultra popular and classy Tom Ford Jennifersunglass.  This sunglass continues to be one of the hottest frames this year with its timeless style.

Rose was the face of American clothing company Bebe from 1998 to 1999. She was also the cover model for the Henry Mancini tribute album Shots in the Dark, which was released in 1996. In addition to clothing endorsements, McGowan has appeared on numerous magazine covers, including Seventeen, Interview, Maxim, GQ, Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone. Actor and comedian Bob Einstein was at the LG Skins Game Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament at the Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indio, California last week wearing the Maui Jim Ho’opika sunglass. This sport sunglass is one of the most popular in the Maui Jim due to their great shape, light weight and low cost. Bob is best known for his character Super Dave Osborne  who is an inept, greedy and self-absorbed stuntman who is frequently injured when his stunts go wrong.  The character Super Dave Osbornemade his first appearance on the tv series, The John Byner Comedy Hour in 1972.  Super Dave was a regular on the 1980 TV series Bizarre and was a frequent guest on Late Night With David Letterman. In 1987 he got his own variety show named Super Dave, followed in 1992 by the animated series Super Dave: Daredevil for Hire that aired on FOX. Einstein starred in a movie released in 2000, The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave. His most notable appearance recently was in Ocean’s Thirteen.

Penelope Cruz was in Beverly Hills Sunday wearing the classy Bvlgari 862 sunglass.  Penelope has been seen wearing this beautiful sunglass over the summer and is obviously one of her favorite. Although Penelope is best known as an actress, she studied classical ballet for nine years at Spain’s National Conservatory and also received three years of Spanish Ballet training with Ángela Garrido. Additionally, she has jazz dance training with Raúl Caballero and she studied at Cristina Rota (mother of Juan Diego Botto) school in Madrid.

Actor and comedian Bill Cosby was  inducted into Pi Eta Kappa Honor Society at Medgar Evers College earlier this month wearing the classic Maui Jim Kapaua sunglass.  Mr. Cosby is commonly seen in these sunglasses which are his favorite. Actor Julian McMahon was on the set of the hit TV show “Nip/Tuck” wearing Chrome Hearts “Hung” sunglass. Julian plays the womanising plastic surgeon Christian Troy on the Emmy and Golden Globe award winning TV show. Interestingly, Julian was born in Sydney, Australia,  and his father is William McMahon, a politician and Australian Prime Minister in 1971 and 1972.

Lindsay Lohan was out getting a cup of coffee in Santa Monica Saturday wearing Jee Vice’s “Evil” sunglass.  Jee Vice optics was established in 2003 in France from the creative mind of Philippe Vergez, the founder and designer. The brand features original designs created exclusively for women with “love and passion“.

Actress superstar Eva Longoria was out shopping Thursday in Beverly Hills wearing one of the original classic Chrome Hearts sunglasses ”Red Riot” with the pink leather temples.  This sunglass has been one of the most popular Chrome Hearts frames over the past years and has the undeniable CH lens shape.

This picture is a couple of months old, by I still get requests to identify what it is.  Well, this picture is of actor Zac Afron in Hawaii  back in September wearing the 55DSL “Snart” sunglass.  The 55DSL brand  was founded in Italy in 1994 as an experimental male and female clothing line for Diesel which is sold all around the world.  The brand takes its name from the number of pieces in the original collection (55) followed somewhat mysteriously by the first letters of the words deep, silent, and lethal.

Jennifer Aniston was in Portland Oregon yesterday wearing the modern aviator styled Oliver Peoples“Victory” sunglass.  This model has increasingly become difficult to find recently.

Coleen wrote me and asked what sunglasses Christina Aguilera was wearing in the above picture.  Its a great shot of her and I thought I would include it in the blog.  Christina has been a huge Tom Ford fan this summer wearing a number of his sunglasses.  The above shot of her shows her wearing Tom’s “Marissa” sunglass in the beautifully unique Brown Horn colored frame. Felicity Huffman was out supporting the writers strike in Hollywood yesterday wearing the Oliver Peoples“Commander” sunglass.  This aviator styled sunglass is become very hard to get nowadays but still can be found at larger Oliver Peoples dealers, like Sunglass Superstore. 

Felicity is best known for her roles in Desperate Housewives and Transamerica. On television, she has also appeared in the dramedy Sports Night, and has had guest starring roles on Frasier, The West Wing and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. She has appeared in films such as Raising Helen and Christmas with the Kranks. Felicity is also the co-author of the self-help book, A Practical Handbook for the Boyfriend.She is the only actress to have appeared in all three television shows created by Aaron Sorkin (Sports Night, The West Wing, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip).

Katie Holmes was in Washington DC yesterday wearing the Gucci 2931 sunglass in the unique Cyclamen Glitter frame color with Burgundy gradient lenses.  Cyclamen is a beautiful flowering plant that is native to the Mediterranean area.

Ashley Judd was at the Vancouver Airport yesterday wearing the new Chanel6013B sunglass.  Many people don’t know that Ashley’s mom is Naomi Judd, a well-known country music singer and motivational speaker and Wynonna Judd, who is also a country music singer, is her half-sister. Ashley is currently very busy with three fashion clothing lines that have just been released by the the retailer Goody’s. The collections are called AJ, Love Ashley and Ashley Judd.
