Nicky Hilton was enjoying the Maui sunset on Christmas day wearing the crazy popular Tom Ford “Whitney” sunglass.  Nicky has been very busy lately finishing up designs for her latest brand called Nicholai. Earlier this year Nicky started this line (her second) aimed at a more mature audience and higher price-point. Nicholai had its debut fashion show for the spring/summer 2008 season on September 9, 2007 in New York City during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Nicky’s first clothing line, Chick by Nicky Hilton was launched 2004.  She also designed a line of handbags for Japanese company Samantha Thavasa from 2002–2005.

Actress Nicollette Sheridan was enjoying the beautiful beaches of Saint Barts on Christmas Day wearing  the new Christian Dior ”Indinight 1″ sunglass. Nicollette was vacationing with boyfriend and  singer-songwriter Michael Bolton.

Film director and screenwriter Len Wiseman and his family went to see the Nutcracker in Westwood yesterday wearing the very popular Prada 65HS sunglass. This classy frame is very versatile and can be worn dressed down and causal, as Len is shown in the picture, as well as looking great with a suit.

Len is known for the movies Underworld, and Underworld: Evolution to which he co-wrote and directed. He will be coming back as producer for Underworld 3: The Rise Of The Lycans slated to be released in 2010. Len is also well known as being the husband of actress Kate Beckinsale.

Lindsay Lohan was shopping at Fred Segals department store yesterday wearing Tom Ford’s “Ford” sunglass.  This model was the third sunglass frame released by Mr. Ford in his initial release.

Katie Holmes was shopping at Maxfields clothing store in West Hollywood yesterday wearing the funky Dolce & Gabbana 6009B sunglass. This frame features a small an tasteful crystal encrusted “DG” near the temple.

Actor Ross McCall was having lunch yesterday wearing the very popular RayBan 4057 sunglass.  This frame is the most popular RayBan sunglass in our store.

Ross is best known for his role as Cpl. Joseph Liebgott in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers. Brad Pitt was visiting the “Live With Regis And Kelly” show earlier today wearing Tom Ford’s “John” sunglass.  Brad has been a big fan of Tom Ford’s sunglass collection being seen wearing more than a few different models.  The “John” sunglass is a modern aviator style that is very lightweight and comfortable with beautiful brown tortoise temples and brown gradient lens. This is a great style for someone with a tall face.

Karen sent me the above picture of Jessica Alba taken back this summer wearing the trendy Escada ESE 503 sunglass.

Escada is a  international fashion powerhouse that was founded in 1976 by Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley . The couple met and fell in love while skiing in St. Moritz. During a trip in Portugal they placed a bet on a horse named Escada, which means “stairway” in Portuguese, and with the winnings began a new gamble in the world of high fashion.

Lisa Rinna was out shopping in Beverly Hills this past week wearing Tom Ford’s Jennifer sunglass. Unless you have been under a rock this summer and fall, this sunglass would be impossible to miss. 

Cher was in West Hollywood yesterday with her daughter Chastity Bono wearing Chrome Hearts Red sunglass. This beautiful aviator styled sunglass continues to be one of the most popular in the Chrome Hearts line.

Although no official annoucement had been made, it is still widely believed that Cher will be appearing in Las Vegas sometime during 2008-09 as a replacement performer for Celine Dion, along with Elton John and Bette Midler who’ve both been officially announced as rotating headliners. Rumors regarding Cher’s involvement have been circulating since late 2006 and in the Fall of 2007 several sources began reporting that negotiations were near finalization or had been possibly finalized. An official announcement is still awaited.

Cher is expected to begin recording her new album in the first quarter of 2008 for a release in the third, or more likely fourth quarter. Cher has been preparing this record since her Farewell Tour and selected it’s material from a large pool of songwriters spanning a multitude of styles, including country. This will be Cher’s first release under her new contract with Warner Bros Records. Cher was previously signed to the UK/European arm of Warner Bros (WEA) during her ‘dance reinvention’ but was dropped by WB’s UK label following the release of “Living Proof” in 2002. The US division of WBR signed Cher to a new contract not long after.

Demi Moore was seen leaving a Santa Monica hotel last month wearing Oliver Peoples “Clorette” sunglass. I had this picture for a few weeks but a difficult time identifying the correct sunglass.  This frame is a big bold sunglass that is definitely not ordinary!

Demi’s original name was Demetria Gene Guynes, and is now known as Demi Kutcher after marrying actor  Ashton Kutcher in 2005. She is best known as Demi Moore, which she kept the name after marrying songwriter Freddy Moore in 1979. Though they divorced in 1985, she kept the last name Moore.

Actor Alan Rickman was at the Berlin Airport last weekend wearing Oliver Peoples “Specialist” sunglass in the beautiful Ash frame color. This sunglass is becoming very difficult to find.

Naomi Campbell was at the Brazilian Formula One Grand Prixearlier this month wearing Victoria Beckham’s dVd Style 3 sunglass.

Victoria made her mark in the fashion world by designing a fashion line for Rock and Republic called ‘VB Rocks,’ consisting mainly of luxury jeans.
