Carmen Electra was in Los Angeles yesterday wearing the classy CHANEL ”CH 5139” sunglass.

Carmen’s real name is Tara Leigh Patrick, but many don’t know how her professional name came about.  Back in 1994 she moved to Southern California where she met Prince while auditioning for an all-girl rap group. After the audition, Prince persuaded her to change her name to Carmen Electra and instead record a solo album. Soon after, she signed a recording contract with Prince’s company Paisley Park Records, marking the start of a short-lived singing career.

Kirsten Dunst was in Hollywood yesterday wearing the funky CHANEL 5128S s. This big funky frame is somewhat reminiscentof a Wayfarer, but much more feminine and classy.

After some speculation whether or not Mary Jane would be in Spider-Man 4 and 5, actress Kirsten Dunst accidentally revealed to MTV just yesterday that she will indeed be returning to the series.  “I’m in,” said the actress matter of factly. However, when pressed to make the announcement official, Dunst quickly changed her tone, and rather cryptically added, “I’m not saying anything, I know there’s rumors…”

Singer Rihanna was in Tampa, Florida yesterday going to lunch wearing CHANEL “CH 4160Q” sunglass. Rihanna is the first female, and the second regardless of gender, from Barbados to have received a Grammy Award. Rihanna received her big break when one of her friends introduced her to music producer Evan Rogers, who was vacationing in Barbados with his wife. Rogers, along with his partner, Carl Sturken, helped Rihanna record material in the U.S. which was sent to various recording companies. One copy of Rihanna’s work was sent to Jay-Z, who eventually signed her to Def Jam Recordings.

Kim Kardashian was arriving in Sydney, Australia for the MTV Awards wearing the new CHANEL “CH 4155Q” sunglass. Kim was little known outside gossip circles until her pornographic home video she had made with then-boyfriend, rapper Ray J, was leaked. Vivid Entertainmentwas the distribution company against which Kardashian had pursued legal action for the ownership of the tape. Kardashian later dropped the suit and settled with Vivid Entertainment for $5,000,000!

Denise Richards was out looking at houses along the beach in Malibu, California yesterday wearing the new CHANEL ”CH 4164B” sunglass.  Denise has been wearing the crazy popular Tom Ford “Whitney” exclusively since last summer.  This is the first different sunglass I have seen her wear for nearly a year.  The CH4164B sunglass is fantastic shield style frame with a nice (not over-sized) lens. Actress Lori Loughlin was out shopping in Los Angeles over the weekend wearing the beautiful Chanel 6021Bsunglass.  Lori is best known for her role as Rebecca Donaldson on the comedy series Full House. In 1997, Lori married fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, the creator of the Mossimo clothing line, and the owner of the ultra cool and fast growing Modern Amusement fashion line.

Reality television star Heidi Montag was leaving lunch yesterday at the Coletree Cafe in Brentwood, California wearing the classy Chanel 4157Q sunglass. Heidi is best known for appearing on the MTV reality television series The Hills and is also an aspiring singer.  On February 5th Montag’s first single “Higher” received an online-only release on iTunes. Along with the single, the accompanying video shot by boyfriend, Spencer Pratt, was also available to purchase.

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer was seen leaving the Chanel Fashion Show in Paris this week wearing the classy style of the Chanel 5124 sunglass. Claudia is one of the world’s most successful supermodels, appearing on over 500 magazine covers. Claudia’s father (Heinz Schiffer) is an attorney in Germany and she originally wanted to become a lawyer and did work in her father’s law firm. After several other magazine appearances she quickly achieved supermodel status when she was selected by Karl Lagerfeld to become the new face of Chanel.  The rest was history!

Ashley Judd was at the Vancouver Airport yesterday wearing the new Chanel6013B sunglass.  Many people don’t know that Ashley’s mom is Naomi Judd, a well-known country music singer and motivational speaker and Wynonna Judd, who is also a country music singer, is her half-sister. Ashley is currently very busy with three fashion clothing lines that have just been released by the the retailer Goody’s. The collections are called AJ, Love Ashley and Ashley Judd.
